COVID-19 Arc Stories AT HOME

Presented by Six Foot Five

GAH! We HATE this #$@#ING virus as much as you do. It’s the worst. We’ve already had to reschedule 2 events because of it.

But we won’t let it stop us telling great stories.

As you know, we believe:

Everyone has great stories. AND Anyone can tell a story well.

So, let’s keep telling good stories…even if we can’t meet up right now.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Use your space-phone to record a video of you, or someone your quarantined with, telling a story.

  2. Fill out the form below so we know who you are. Then upload your story.

  3. We’ll dress up some of the videos (with logos, fades, music, etc).

  4. We’ll post some of the stories to our social media channels for the whole world to see. (We’ll be sure to tag you and give you all the credit.)

Guidelines/Rules:

  • No theme - any story will work

  • Aim for your story to be 4 minutes long or less.

  • We won’t post anything some might consider “Rated-R”

  • You can submit as many stories as you want.

  • Not every submission will get posted.

Here’s a link to the “Storyteller Tips” we give all of the storytellers who tell at our live events.

Here’s some inspiration:
- What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you?
- What experience changed you more than anything else in your life?
- What’s the hardest decision you’ve ever made?
- What’s the most scared you’ve ever been?
- If you could go back and relive a time in your life - what would it be?
- Have you ever been attacked by a shark? ;)

Video/Sound Quality Tips
- Sound is most important!!!…Don’t record this in a loud busy place. Get somewhere quite.
- If you’re outside, shoot it somewhere in the shade. This will help your camera expose evenly and properly.
- If you’re shooting it inside, stand close to a window facing the light coming in.
- We prefer “portrait” to “landscape,” but we’ll take what we can get.

After you click “submit” this page will take you to a Dropbox page where you can upload your video file directly from your phone.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: By submitting a video - you agree to let us use it / post it / alter it however we want.
